"Truth and Fire" is an innovative art exhibition that delves into the complexities of human nature, using the powerful motifs of truth and fire.
The exhibition features a wide variety of artwork from two spiritual artists, each offering a different perspective on their respective theme.
Jonas Ghyselen, graphic artist, takes you into the secret worlds that unfold behind the surface of paper. He transcends the material to the spiritual in his linocuts, etchings and lithographs and brings us some universal 'truths'.
Mieke Fleurackers, a spiritual alchemical painter, makes (semi) abstract paintings, mainly in acrylic and is known for her dreamy and enigmatic compositions that refer to the spiritual alchemical processes in life.
Fire is one of the fundamental elements of creativity and the basic inspiration to realize her transformative works of art.
In the midst of chaos and confusion, "Truth and Fire" reminds us that there is beauty in strife. By embracing our complex nature, we can find purpose and meaning in life.

De tentoonstelling loopt van vrijdagavond 4 juni tot en met zondagavond 13 juni.
Toegangsprijs 10 euro, waarvoor u ook een folder met teksten en foto’s krijgt.
De openingsuren zijn 15u – 19u, behalve op vrijdag 4 juni. Dan kunt u tussen 19u en 22u
terecht.

Parkeergelegenheid schuin over de zaal, tegen de dijk.
Coronabeveiliging : maximaal 10 bezoekers mogen tegelijk binnen. Omwille van de Covid-19
maatregelen vragen wij aan alle bezoekers de identificatiegegevens, met adres en
telefoonnummer van één van de leden van hun gezelschap op te geven. Mondmasker,
correct gedragen, is verplicht in de zaal. Ontsmettingsgel is voorzien bij de ingang. Wij
vragen de bezoekers zich strikt aan de looprichting van de tentoonstelling te houden, en om
de afstandsregels te bewaren.
De wereld is gecoroniseerd, maar onze deelnemende poppen zijn immuun tegen alle
menselijke aandoeningen, dus u kunt ze veilig benaderen. Kijken mag, aankomen niet.
Leo De Beul
All-round kunstenaar Leo De Beul is een van die Dendermondse specialiteiten die tot ons aller artistiek patrimonium behoren. Hij tekent, schildert en aquarelleert bijna onophoudelijk vanuit een dwingende creatieve drang. Hij organiseerde tentoonstellingen in België, Frankrijk, Duitsland en Rusland en Japan.
